• Prospective Transfer Applicants

  Brown welcomes applications from transfer candidates each spring for enrollment in the fall or spring semester of the following academic year. You will find details about the application process in our current Transfer Guide to Applying to Brown.

Prospective First-Year Applicants

We hope you are planning to explore Brown as a place to continue your education. Exploration is the first step. When you are ready to apply, the next step can be taken on this page by registering with the Common Application. Our own Brown Supplement to the Common Application for 2009-10 will be available in mid-August. You will be able to complete the process entirely through the Common Application Website.

Key Dates:
EARLY DECISION applications due: November 1, 2009
REGULAR DECISION applications due: January 1, 2010
