Campus Life & Student Services

The Campus Life and Student Services division offers a broad array of resources that allow students to extend and deepen their learning through civic engagement, cultural and religious examination, and participation in and leadership of an active network of student-initiated projects and organizations.

The departments within the division of Campus Life provide a range of services to ensure an outstanding educational environment for all students at Brown. The deans, doctors, faculty fellows, coaches, chaplains and hundreds of staff in the division help students lead healthy, productive lives.

What are the symptoms of H1N1?
The symptoms are virtually identical to seasonal flu and consist most commonly of sudden onset of fever, body aches, dry cough and sore throat. Seasonal flu may also include nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. More information at www.brown.edu/health

Sep. 17 , 2009 Email to Brown students As expected, we are beginning to see students reporting influenza like illness (ILI) at University Health Services and through the online reporting system. Legal Services

Attorney Len O’Brien will provide legal advice to undergraduate, graduate, and medical students beginning on Thursday, April 30, 2009. He will be at the Sarah Doyle Women’s Center on Tuesdays from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm and available for phone consultation on Thursdays from 3 pm to 5 pm. During the winter and summer break he will be available two hours a week by phone on Thursdays from 3 pm to 5 pm. Mr. O'Brien's office phone number is (401)751-5090.
