Sending Mail

While students are on campus, letters and packages may be picked up at the Brown mailroom in Faunce House on the College Green. The mailroom is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Family and friends should address letters and packages to students as follows.

It is up to students to check on whether they have mail or packages waiting for them at the Brown Post office. Shipped Items should arrive on campus no more than a week in advance of a student's program start date. It is suggested that packages be Shipped via US Post office Priority, UPS, DHL or Fed Ex Ground for tracking purposes. Students will be able to pick up their packages on the Monday of the start of the program. (The Brown Post Office is closed on Sunday).

When programs are over, any first class/priority mail or packages not retrieved by students before they leave campus are forwarded back to the student or returned to sender. We are not responsible for mail or shipments to and from Brown via the United States Postal Service or carrier service.
