Staff Development Day is Coming Soon!
Staff Development Day represents a unique design and approach to workplace learning by giving all Brown University staff the opportunity to invest in their professional and personal lives. This year's program featured more than 100 staff, faculty, and alumni presenters offering seminars on topics such as nanotechnology, nutrition, and improving communication skills to name just a few!
Staff Development Day also gives participants the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others. Community service seminars and other collection drives will be held this year to benefit organizations throughout the Providence and Rhode Island communities.
The goals of Staff Development Day are:
- To encourage the ongoing learning, development and personal growth of Brown University staff
- To give staff the opportunity to make a difference by participating in public service projects to benefit local and national non-profit organizations
- To share knowledge, experience, and expertise among Brown University staff
- To strengthen the connections among all staff across the University and promote goodwill and understanding
