Susan Dentzer

Susan Dentzer is the chief economics correspondent and the economics columnist for U.S. News and World Report, where she has been since 1987. Prior to joining U.S. News, she was a senior writer covering business news at Newsweek. She writes about a wide array of economic issues ranging from global competition to health care reform, but specializes in political-economic concerns, such as U.S. fiscal policy, domestic policy, and international economic issues. Dentzer has been a regular guest on shows such as "Nightline," "The McLaughlin Group," and "Washington Week in Review." She is also a commentator on the American Public Radio international business news show "Marketplace" and other radio shows across the country.
