Brown, RISD, police and East Side neighbors to discuss security issues

Brown University will host a community meeting to discuss issues of crime and public safety at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2002, in MacMillan Hall, Thayer and George streets.


PROVIDENCE — Brown University will host a community meeting for East Side neighbors at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2002, in Starr Auditorium, MacMillan Hall. The agenda for the evening includes recent crime on the East Side and efforts under way to improve safety and security. Representatives from the Providence Police Department and the Brown and RISD security offices will join the discussion.
