Information for Returning Study Abroad Students
Okay. You have been on your own for the past six months or a year in a foreign country. Your passport has more stamps inside than Ban Ki-moon’s. You are well-traveled, well-learned and well-versed in one or more cultures. You may think that because you are returning to Rhode Island, USA, your adventures are over. You are wrong.
It may not be Paris or Cairo, but Rhode Island has excitement oozing from the shores of its beaches to the heights of the downtown skyline. Now that you’ve been away, and gotten outside of your comfort zone, you can take full advantage of life on and off the Hill.
In this site, you’ll find ways to keep your cross-cultural experience alive at Brown and in Providence. Also, there are a few guides to exploring the city and even places to satisfy your appetite for international cuisine.
Rediscover the place you left behind with all the enthusiasm and anticipation you brought to the airport when you left.
