Turn your cell phone into a personal safety device!

DPS is pleased to announce its launch of the new Rave Guardian mobile safety service for students, staff and faculty at Brown. Rave Guardian is a 100% hosted "software as a service," - which means there is absolutely nothing to install. Using Rave Guardian supplied by Rave Wireless, Brown Public Safety can respond to panic calls and precautionary timers activated by community members within campus parameters. The application works on any cell phone and any cell network in the U.S. and has been integrated into the DPS Communications Center emergency response process. Attention students! View the DPS Campus Safety 101 Video for practical tips on how to live on campus safely.

Personal Safety Alarms are free for all students, and available to staff/faculty at a cost of $5. PALs are available at all DPS locations.
