DPS is pleased to announce its launch of the new Rave Guardian mobile safety service for students, staff and faculty at Brown. Rave Guardian is a 100% hosted "software as a service," - which means there is absolutely nothing to install. Using Rave Guardian supplied by Rave Wireless, Brown Public Safety can respond to panic calls and precautionary timers activated by community members within campus parameters. Register for the RAD Basic Self-Defense course to receive risk reduction strategies, assertiveness training, and practical hands-on resistance strategies. It is all about options ladies! Register today!

DPS will offer a Public Safety Information and Property Engraving Session at Davol on Friday, January 29, 2010 from 12pm-1pm. CIS staff are encouraged to attend.

Safewalk has ended service for the semester. Services will resume in February 2010.

Personal Safety Alarms are free for all students, and available to staff/faculty at a cost of $5. PALs are available at all DPS locations.
