Fire Safety for Events

When running an event at Brown, please be aware of your responsibilities with regard to the safety of your guests, including pointing out the emergencey exits and reading a fire safety announcement before the start of your event. Please consult our Fire Safety for Events Program [PDF] for details.

Additionally, if you are expecting over 250 people, you may need to consult with the Environmental Health and Safety Office as larger events require a fire marshall to be on site.
