Leadership Programs
Leadership development programs at Brown aim to provide Brown students with academic, experiential and reflective opportunities to develop the values, knowledge, critical thinking and interpersonal skills necessary to become engaged citizens and responsible leaders. Brown University, the Student Activities Office, and the various Campus Life and Student Services departments are committed to providing an array of leadership development opportunities for students.
SAO offers services to student organizations through workshops, one-on-one consultation and event planning support. Workshop Series topics include running effective meetings, recruiting and retaining group members, developing budgets, retaining institutional memory, managing time, avoiding burnout, leadership styles and public speaking.
