Kerrissa Heffernan took over head coaching duties for the Brown Women in 2001, taking the team to the Div. I National Sweet 16 playoffs and an Ivy League Championship in 2004 and then again in 2007. In her rugby career, Kerri played for Florida State, Beantown, and the USA Eagles. Off the pitch, Kerri is the Associate Director of the Swearer Center for Public Service and Director of the Royce Fellowship. She is the co-editor of the The Practice of Change: Concepts and Models for Service-Learning in Women's Studies, co-editor of the Introduction to Service-learning Toolkit: Readings and Resources for Faculty and author of The Fundamentals of Course Construction.

Kurt Teichert has recently returned to the game after years of coaching youth soccer and basketball. Kurt played Second Row and took the kicks at Franklin and Marshall College and Oregon State University and currently plays soccer in a local men’s league. Kurt completed the USA Rugby Developing Skills certification program. Off the pitch, Kurt is Resource Efficiency Manager in the Department of Facilities Management and Adjunct Lecturer in the Center for Environmental Studies at Brown. He coordinates the campus environmental stewardship initiative at Brown and teaches and manages programs on high performance building design.

Tom Dill has recently joined the team after relocating to the Providence area. Tom was the head coach and trainer for Keene State College Women's Rugby.  He has served as a coach for Northeast Rugby Union and the New England Rugby Football Union U23 Women's Team.  Tom is IRB and USA Rugby Coaching Certified.  In addition he is a certified Rugby Medic/Trainer and brings over 15 years experience as a rugby trainer including serving as the trainer at a number of international matches.  Off the pitch, Tom is a Senior Property Loss Specialist for Liberty Mutual Insurance and serves a member of the Board of Directors for the Cheshire YMCA in Keene, NH.
