Tai Chi Chuan or "Supreme Ultimate Fist" is the sublime development of Chinese physical culture and philosophy. It is often referred to as long boxing because it flows like a long and powerful river. Practicing the form will lead to good health. One can develop the strength of a lumberjack and the pliability of a child. Mastering the postures can help one avoid personal insult. Tai chi is characterized by simplicity, fluidity and power, a combination of softness and strength. The gentle nature of Tai Chi makes it suitable for everyone regardless of age or sex.

Members of Fusion Dance Company are thrilled to offer the first ever Ballet Workshop! The classes are geared toward the intermediate dancer, but all are welcome to join. The workshop focuses on technique and choreography from week to week, so you can see your progress from beginning to end over the course of the eight week series.
Yoga Inversions – Fridays 1:00 – 2:30 PM March 9 – April 27
Inversions are the most arresting and exciting aspect of yoga for a reason. Upside-down is not how we spend the majority of our days. It is undeniably refreshing to have some time on the flip-side. Headstands, shoulder stands, bridges, handstands and even downward dog- have an oxygenating effect on the brain, improving the circulatory and nervous systems, bringing benefit to all the body's organs. A rest is given to over-worked areas and length is created in chronically shortened places. And if life should take a turn in unpredictable directions, the inversion-practitioner may well be a little more prepared.
Besides being serious fun, this workshop is an unparalleled way to get strong and balanced.
Danielle teaches the precise building blocks of inverted structures from the ground up- plus simple variations and how to handle weight-shifts that might occur during the learning stages. In this context, bio-mechanics are illuminated in a way quite different from other gravity-challenging systems.
Everybody has the ability to master some form of inversions and will learn how to do so safely in this workshop. Register early, class size limited.
