Ductal carcinoma in situ (comedocarcinoma)
One of the other patterns of DCIS, comedocarcinoma, shows central necrosis in a solid sheet of cells exhibiting
pleomorphism and high grade nuclear change. Calcification is common leading to discovery on mammography.
