Honeycomb lung
This section of lung is from a patient with longstanding sarcoidosis and obstructive lung disease. See invasive
aspergillosis for more history of this patient. It shows extensive interstitial fibrosis, cystic spaces, and areas
of emphysema. Elsewhere sections from this patient showed old fibrosed non-necrotizing granulomas.
