Sara is a Ph.D. student in American Studies. She is interested in the relationship between feminist activism and scholarship, politics of the body, and the processes by which acts are deemed “gender violence.” Before coming to graduate school she was involved in activist and advocacy work on sexual violence. She left her heart in California, but is warming up to New England.
