Undergraduate Advising

Concentration Advisors

Because of the individual and unique character of each student's concentration plan, advising plays a critical role in American Studies. Students interested in concentrating in American Studies are encouraged to meet with the concentration advisor before their third semester. Concentrators construct and revise their concentration plans in close consultation with the Concentration Advisor. Concentration Advisors generally have close relationships with concentrators and expect to see them several times during the academic year.
