Brian A. Horton

Area of Interest:

I am interested in the intersections of globalization, mass media culture, and state politics in the negotiation of queer sexual identities in the Global South. My proposed research concerns the role that queer politics is taking in the delineation of developed and developing nations, the construction of state identity, and the formation of national narrative(s) in postcolonial spaces; Northern India.
