Research Focus:
Social cognition with a focus on morality

My research asks questions like: Why do we sometimes punish accidents?  And, when do we think it is OK to sacrifice one person for the good of many?  I am interested in understanding the cognitive processes involved in moral judgment, their development, and their evolutionary history.
