Asymptotic Methods in Wireless Communications
Michael Honig,
Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Northwestern University:
Monday March 3, 4:30 pm, Rutgers University, CoRE Building:
Performance analysis of wireless communication systems is
often facilitated through the use of asymptotic methods.
Recent examples include large system analysis of
Code-Division Multiple Access (CDMA) with random signatures,
and multiple antenna systems with random channels.
We will discuss other examples where asymptotic methods
can be successfully applied, including convergence analysis of
adaptive filters for interference suppression, and the
performance of variants of CDMA with and without
signature optimization.
