Executive Committee
The Executive Committee exists to assist and advise the Director in all aspects of the running of the Joukowsky Institute — guiding the direction and expansion of Institute activities; fostering links with relevant individuals and communities both at Brown and further afield; exploring curricular possibilities; monitoring student performance; assessing applicants for graduate admission; and so on. The Committee meets four times during the academic year. Members are appointed by the Provost on the nomination and recommendation of the Director. The committee’s composition varies from year to year, but always includes the Director, the Directors of Graduate and Undergraduate Studies, members of the Institute core faculty and representatives from several cognate departments.
