Mentoring
The Director of Graduate Studies for the Joukowsky Institute is Professor John F. Cherry, who directed the Interdepartmental Program in Classical Art and Archaeology at the University of Michigan for eleven years.
The Graduate School offers various avenues for professional development. Joukowsky Institute graduates have greatly benefited from participating in the various seminars offered through the Harriet W. Sheridan Center for Teaching and Learning. Several different forms of training and support are offered, and teaching certificates can be earned from the Sheridan Center.
