Lori Baker's books are Crazy Water: Six Fictions (NYU Press) and Scraps (paradigm press). Winner of the Mamdouha H. Bobst Prize for Emerging Writers, a Transatlantic Review/Henfield Foundation Prize and a Merit Grant from the Rhode Island State Council for the Arts, she has taught writing at Brown, Boston College, and Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts. Some recent fictions have appeared or are forthcoming in Common Knowledge, The New Review of Literature, and First Intensity: A Magazine of New Writing.
