Gregory Moss is a playwright, performer, and educator from Newburyport MA. He holds an MFA from Brown University’s Graduate Playwriting Program. His plays include The Amazon, The Argument, Sport Most Royal, sixsixsix, and punkplay. His work has been developed with or produced by Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre, The A.R.T., Ars Nova, Playwrights Horizons, The Hangar Theatre, The Provincetown Tennessee Williams Festival, The Empty Space, Theatre Limina, Electric Pear Productions, and New York Theatre Workshop. Gregory is the recipient of a 2006-2007 Lucille Lortel Playwriting Fellowship, and a 2008 Millay Colony Residency. His play, House of Gold, was selected for development as part of the 2008 PlayPenn Playwrights Conference. Since 1999 he has run Independent Submarine Productions, a company dedicated to generating original, challenging art in a variety of media, some of which has been archived at www.gregorysmoss.com.

Upcoming productions and readings include Count Orlok’s Castle at Collaboration (Chicago); punkplay at Ars Nova (NY); punkplay at Playwrights Horizons (NY); House of Gold at PlayPenn (Philidelphia); punkplay development with New York Theatre Workshop (dir. by Les Waters).
