Spring 2010 Graduate Colloquium Schedule
| February-March 2010: | As we will be bringing to campus somewhere between three and six finalists for the John Emigh position, the presentations and meetings with graduate students that take place during this period of time will serve as our graduate colloquia. |
| February 12: | Professor Tricia Rose, Chair of the Department of Africana Studies at Brown and a specialist in hip-hop music and culture (see the cover story on her in the July/August 2009 edition of the Brown Alumni Monthly will be our graduate colloquium guest, speaking on a topic to be determined. |
As always we will devote a graduate colloquium at the end of the spring semester for presentations by those of you who have completed all requirements for the MA and all requirements, except for the dissertation, for the Ph.D. We will settle upon the date for these presentations at some point during the spring semester.
