Studios

Visual Art students at Brown have access to individual studio spaces for painting and sculpture. The List Art building is equipped with both black and white and digital photography studios, excellent printmaking facilities for silkscreen, woodcut, lithography and intaglio processes and a sculpture studio with equipment for woodworking and cold metal fabrication. In the past several years we have built 3 new facilities: a digital lab, a photography darkroom and classroom, and the Walter Feldman Book Arts facility in the John Hay Library. In addition, the Tockwotten studio located in a former Brown storage warehouse affords students and faculty with additional studio space for three dimensional work.
