Holiday & Winter Break Schedule and Heat Curtailment 2010-2011
With the winter break coming up Facilities Management is planning to adjust the heat in unoccupied or sparsely occupied buildings. The Winter Curtailment Schedule FY11, lists the color-coded status of affected campus buildings. Buildings not shown on the list will not be curtailed due to occupancy, research or the inability to cutback on the heating due to system type. Buildings shown in "blue" will be curtailed beginning 5:00 PM on 12/23/10 through 1/02/11. Buildings shown in "red" will be curtailed beginning on 12/20/10 through 1/19/11.
If you feel that there is sufficient justification to keep the heat on in your building, due to essential functions being performed or a consistent large occupancy, please discuss the need with your building coordinator. If the request is approved by the department chair, your building coordinator should submit a service order to Facilities Management's Service Response Center by either calling 863-7800 or online at Facilities Self Service.
