Birgitta’s directing credits include Medea, Big Love and The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek for the Brown/Trinity Consortium; Sweet Dream of Paris (Andy Bragen) for the 2005 New Play Festival at Brown and Don’t Stop (Molly Rice) for the 2006 New Play Festival II. Other directing credits include: Co- director Fatty Arbuckle’s Spectacular Musical Review, Second City Theatricals, Chicago; The Book of Liz, Roadworks, Chicago; Arabian Nights, National High School Institute, Evanston, IL; co-director Tattoo Girl, Cobalt Ensemble Theatre, Chicago. As a choreographer and movement director, Birgitta has worked with Roadworks, The Goodman, Next Theatre, Steppenwolf, Chicago Shakespeare, Writers Theatre, Second City, The Hangar Theater and Miloco Theatre Company in Prague, CZ. As a performer and dancer she worked with Plasticene, Sprung, Chicago Moving Company, MK Victorson, Lookingglass and Jump Rhythm Jazz Project. Birgitta is a graduate of the MFA program in directing at the Brown/Trinity Consortium.
