Grettle

Grettle is a 2-4 yr old, spayed female, American Staffordshire Terrier.

Medium in size and is white w/ brown spots and the cutest little face.

Grettle loves snuggling with everyone and is probably housebroken and she knows how to sit.

She likes some other dogs and could probably live w/ cats.

Grettle needs a slow introduction to a submissive other dog, as she is a pretty dominant lady.

Grettle is not at all food aggressive and not protective of raw hides, so she would probably do well with children.  We recommend older children, because Grettle is pretty energetic and may be too much for toddlers.

She has been cooped up in a cage since October 24th, so she is very energetic, but this will go away once she is home and receives regular exercise.

Because the kennels are too small and she is so happy, Grettle beats her tail against the wall all day long.

As a result, the tip if it is raw and gets blood all over her and her cage.  Please don’t judge her for this, because with time and love, she will heal and be as good as new.

Please save our little Grettle.

She is a favorite among volunteers, but we can only fight for her for so long.

Grettle has been with us for too long and her time is nearly up.

She only has weeks left before she becomes yet another statistic.

Update:

Grettle is currently in foster care and is safe!

But she still needs a forever home.
