CBP Volunteers go to the Shelter to: -
Provide much needed socialization and exercise to
shelter cats and/or dogs -
Learn to observe and interpret animal
communicative signals (understand
body language and vocal communication) -
Learn to create behavioral profiles for each
animal (help
match animals to appropriate adopters) -
Learn to train dogs in basic obedience -
Help brush and bathe animals -
Play with and love homeless animals in much need
of TLC! - Have a lot of fun! |
