Welcome to the website of the lab of Johanna Schmitt. We operate out of the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology department of Brown University in wonderful Providence, RI. We study the genetic basis of adaptation to climate change in the model organism Arabidopsis thaliana, a spring annual plant with a very small genome and short generation time.
