Laboratory Positions Available (Updated 03/28/2012)

    Post-Doctoral Fellow position available starting July 2012. Applicant must be a US citizen/ permanent resident and eligible for NIH T32 training grant position. The areas of research that may be available are:
  1. Mechanisms of cardiac hypertrophy, fibrosis and dysfunction in the setting of pulmonary diseases. (PI: Gaurav Choudhary, MD)
  2. Mechanisms of the effect of cigarette smoke on lung endothelium. (PI: Sharon Rounds, MD)
  3. The role of kinases and phosphatases in acute lung injury. (PI: Elizabeth Harrington, PhD)
  4. Applicants with experience in primary cell isolation, molecular biology (PCR, qPCR, Western blots, transfection, etc), and/or in vivo physiological assessment (cardiac or pulmonary) are preferred.
