Steering Committee is an opportunity for current and past BOLT leaders to reflect on the state of the program. Held each Monday of the fall semester, Steering Committee brings together BOLT leaders, BOLT managers, and the program's director to discuss changes they hope to implement. Ultimately, the Steering Committee assumes major responsibility for the administration and management of the program.
Steering Committee is open to all current and former BOLT leaders regardless of past participation in BOLT training, and is a great way to stay connected with the community. Come by to share your ideas!
In the fall of 2010, BOLT Manager Jason Reeder recorded a series of steering committees, and analyzed the intonation used by participants as a final project for CLPS1361 "Intonational Phonology."
Jason's Final Project (A Radio Piece) can be downloaded here - I Don't Like Your Tone: The Intonation of Discussion and Dissent.
The steering committees he recorded can be downloaded here - SC 10/25/10; SC 11/16/10.
