Brown Bag Lunch Schedule
Out for Lunch is Brown University’s midday brown-bag discussion series at the LGBTQ Resource Center, providing a safe space for discussion and learning, about matters that concern all aspects of LGBTQA life. All events, unless othewise noted, take place in the LGBTQ Resource Center, 321 Faunce House, from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Please bring your lunch, drinks and snacks provided.

Visiting Professor Courtney Cahill
"(Still) Not Fit To Be Named: Moving Beyond Race To Explain Why Separate Nomenclature For Gay and Straight Relationships Will Never Be Equal"
Courtney Cahill is an associate law professor at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. She graduated from Barnard and received a law degree from Yale as well as a doctorate in comparative literature from Princeton. From 1996 to 1997, Ms. Cahill was a Fulbright fellow studying medieval Italian literature at the University of Florence. She is currently teaching a course at Brown, titled: Topics in American Constitutional Law. This event poses a great opportunity to discuss these topics, looking into our upcoming Pride Month events.
