Want to Live in the Best Room on Campus?

Think the lottery has been unfair to you in the past? Think you have some special talent that can win you first pick in the housing lottery? Want to attend for a chance to win our raffle for FIRST PICK IN YOUR CLASS YEAR?

The Residential Council invites you to participate in the annual first pick competition to possibly walk away with the best room on campus. Enter in a group of any size from 1-12. Any act that can be shown in Sayles, including videos, songs, artwork, or written work will be accepted. ANY appropriate form of entry will be considered.

Acts can be up to 3.5 minutes long and videos up to 5 minutes long. Every person in your first pick group must be involved in the act in some way.

Simply come to the PO in Faunce House from Tuesday-Thursday, February 19-21 from 10am-2pm to sign up all the members of your group. For videos, come on Tuesday or Wednesday to hand them in on a digital file or a DVD, or email a high-quality version to lottery@brown.edu using yousendit.com or a similar service.

The event will be hosted by the Brown Stand-Up Comics' one and only Adam Suzan. There will be contests and celebrity judges (Michael Paradiso, John Stein, and AWeenieman to name a few.) Best of all, we'll be raffling off the first pick in your class year, as well as the opportunity to call the numbers for five minutes during the lottery!
