Application Instructions and Timelines

Thank you for your interest in applying to be a Minority Peer Counselor Friend! We look forward to reading your application and meeting with you. Please make sure to complete all parts of the application.

MPC Friend interview times will be made available after the MPC Friend application deadline of Monday, March 25, 2013. Sign-ups for times will be online and the link will be emailed to all applicants during the week of Monday, March 25, 2013.

Selection Timeline:

Tuesday, March 19 at 6:00 pm - MPC Friend Info Session @ TWC
Wednesday, March 20 at 6:00 pm - MPC Friend Info Session @ TWC

Monday, March 25 at 5:00 pm - MPC Friends Applications due
Tuesday, April 2 to Friday, April 5 - MPC Friends interviews
Monday, April 8 - MPC Friends decisions sent out
Thursday, April 11 - MPC Friends decisions due

Selected applicants are expected to attend the TWC Student Staffer Retreat on Sunday, April 13 from 8:00 am to 11:30 am. Please hold the date and time in your calendars.

Instructions:

1. A completed application includes a resume and the submission of an application form.
Please make sure to fill out the form completely. You will not be able to save the form as
you fill it out.
2. Please follow instructions from the TWTPCs regarding signing up for interviews. If you
are away from campus during interviews, please e-mail Shane_Lloyd@brown.edu and
twtp@brown.edu to make arrangements.
