China Care Brown Accomplishments

In its first semester, China Care Brown raised enough money to save over 30 children from orphanages in China and place them into the homes of loving foster families. China Care Brown also established a bi-weekly playgroup for children adopted from China and their families. Click here for more information.

During the spring semester of 2005, China Care Brown continues to grow and the organization has taken on new projects. The first annual China Care Brown Benefit Dinner took place on March 11 and raised over $8,000 for our initiatives. Additionally, China Care Brown plans on starting a mentoring program for older children adopted from China, as well as a summer internship program to send Brown students to work in a Chinese orphanage over the summer.
