Hello guys. This is Oneway Koo, the funniest web master among college christian a cappella groups in America. I bet cause nobody writes in a personal style! However, I’ll keep my style. (I guess I’ll get fired soon.)
I am honored to introduce our newcomers this year! They have passed the long audition process and they declared themselves as Jesus followers so I personally cannot wait to watch their performances and contributions to Brown campus. I do see God will use With One Voice in many awesome ways this year!
Firstly, I would like to inform our readers about members on leave:
Kevin “Miller” Hui (’07): He graduated this year and is now struggling against the tough med-school life
Won Hoe Koo (’10 but will be ‘12): He left America to serve his country in its army, but the slackest army ever. Guess what? He is writing this post at his army service place! He is a white-collar army.
RISD artists Deborah Lim (’09), Karen Wang (’10), and Hyun-Jin “Julia” Yoo (’10): They want to concentrate to their artistic lives more, so they decided to take semester off from WOV.
Brown scholars Joshua Unseth (’09), Marcus Potts (’09) and Nicholas “Ming-fung” Poon (’09): They are very well-rounded students, so had many conflicts with WOV schedules. I hope that they come back the WOV in the future. (Personally, they were my suitemates but I betrayed them and left the country. I still feel so sorry guys!)
I am privileged to introduce our member coming back:
Victoria Tseng (’08): She comes back from her China trip and wants to apply some Eastern cultural musics to WOV. Believe it, or not.
It’s time to let you know our newcomers! Promising, Passionate, and Vibrant:
Warren Tai (Brown ‘11)
Cate Berger (Brown ‘11)
Kristen Biddison (RISD ‘10)
Angela Oh (RISD ‘11)
Sophie Choi (RISD ‘11)
Seul “Jenny” Lee (RISD ‘11)
Wow! Doesn’t it seem awesome? I think their names even sound great! I know you whoever is reading this post already expects the great concerts and arch sings, and other performances of With One Voice as old members and our awesome new members are going to get so harmonized in terms of music and personal relations that they are going to sing with one voice, with one heart, and with one faith.
Please walk with us by prayers, our supporters! I do know that God will keep whatever missions With One Voice will do this year. I pray so, too. Hurrah!
