Brown University offers undergraduate students the opportunity to study abroad through a wide variety of academic programs, some offered directly by the University and others sponsored by institutions offering programs that Brown approves for academic credit. Over 500 Brown students study outside of the United States each year.

Office of International Student and Scholar Services (OISSS)

OISSS offers information about a wide range of topics useful for incoming international students and scholars, both before and after their arrival in the United States. It provides support in the development of university policies and programs relating to issues particular to international exchange, and works with organizations that serve the needs of Brown’s international community.

International Research Administration

International Research Administration provides outreach to departments and individual faculty identified as having or proposing research-oriented international collaborations. It also assists with the interpretation and implementation of complex intellectual property and compliance issues related to the promotion of international research goals of the University.

Graduate School
