Performance Management Process

Performance management at Brown University is optimized when there is continuous communication between employees and their supervisors about work expectations, goals, and performance.  Supervisors and employees share responsibility for completing the necessary steps to track and evaluate progress throughout the performance cycle.  This collaborative process emphasizes employee engagement and is designed to facilitate an ongoing dialogue between supervisors and staff members.

The resources on this page provide the necessary information to successfully complete the performance management process and include online modules, a user guide, forms, and FAQs for both supervisors and staff.

Please contact your HR Generalist or HR Coordinator with any questions.
