Margot Saurette is the Data Analyst/Executive Assistant in the Office of Institutional Diversity. She has been with the University since 1986 working in Human Resources, Facilities Management, EEO/AA and Institutional Diversity. Margot is responsible for providing high-level support to the University’s hiring process and projects of the Associate Provosts. The position functions as a data analyst that provides documents and records all elements of the faculty hiring process, prepares reports and analyses with regard to diversity and compliance to ensure that the administration is aware of the needs within our organization. The position also provides high level administrative assistance to the Associate Provost for Academic Development and Diversity, supporting the daily activities of the office including, but not limited to, calendars, projects, reporting, hiring analysis, large events and faculty development programs. This position also supports the Senior Associate Provost as part of the team overseeing all of the academic department reviews at the University. Her position is responsible for the filing of the Integrated Postsecondary Education System Data reports IPEDS, the VETS100A and the compilation of the University’s Affirmative Action Plan for Women and Minorities, and the Affirmative Action Plan for Veterans and the Disabled.
