This Institute focused on the scholarly field of entrepreneurship and its potential application to business and academic contexts in the developing world, focusing on technology entrepreneurship and its intersection with 1) technology innovation and 2) development economics.

Professor of Engineering at Brown University. Dr. Kingon currently leads research projects on ferroelectric and high permittivity thin films,advanced materials for MEMS switches, integrated passive components, frequency agile dielectric materials and devices, and thermoelectric materials.

AB Harvard 1983; JD Yale 1989; PhD Stanford 1994; Professor of Sociology at Brown University. Professor Suchman's research interests center on the relationship between law, innovation and entrepreneurship, particularly in the information technology, nanotechnology, and healthcare sectors.
