On Oct. 24, President Wei Yang of Zhejiang University, a Brown alumnus (Ph.D.  Engineering) presented “Defect Evolution in Nanocrystals and Graphenes,” as part of the Year of China lecture series and in collaboration with the Institute for Molecular and Nanoscale Innovation (IMNI). President Yang was part of a delegation that met with administrators from International Affairs and the Warren Alpert Medical School; toured campus and explored additional exchanges and
collaborations between Brown and Zhejiang. After speaking to a full house in MacMillan Hall, President Yang and other delegation members participated in a student meet and greet, with the day ending at a dinner hosted by President Simmons.
