Year of China hosted a screening of the film, Somewhere Between, on April 25. Immediately following the screening, there was a Q&A with director and producer Linda Goldstein Knowlton '87 as well as Jenna Cook and Jenni Lee, two college students featured in the film.

Somewhere Between examined what it is like to come-of-age as a trans-racial adoptee in today's America, as seen through the eyes of four of the 79,562 adopted girls from China. Through the voices of these young women, we will see not just their lives, but our own, reflected back to us - whether we are adoptive families or not. Somewhere Between starts a dialogue about what we see, who we are, and the changing face of the American family.

*****Due to the sensitive subject matter, this film is recommended for ages 14 and older.******

Produced and directed by Linda Goldstein Knowlton '87; with music by Lili Haydn '92.
