The Sheridan Center is located at 96 Waterman Street in the Frederick Lippitt

with a staff member, have a cup of coffee or tea, and explore our Resource
Library
, or join us at an upcoming event.

Our Resource Library

The Sheridan Center houses an extensive collection of books and
articles related to teaching and learning.  Members of the Brown
teaching community are welcome to visit the Center and make use of our library.  Browse the library collection online and let us know if there are some books we can put on hold for you.  See browsing tips.

Our Seminar Room

The Sheridan Center regularly holds seminars and workshops in our seminar
room, which has modular furniture that can be set up in variety of ways.
For most events, it is set up in a workshop-style format, with 6 chairs around each of 5 hexagonal tables.  It can also be configured as a large enclosed rectangle with chairs around the outside edges.
