SAC Seeks Nominees and Applicants

October 7, 2013

It's that time of year again! The President's Staff Advisory Council is seeking applications to fill ten vacancies with terms starting in January 2014. Each year half of our membership turns over, and we welcome new members to serve two-year terms.

If you're interested in helping make Brown the best place it can possibly be for staff to work—and willing and able to commit to actively participating for a two-year term—please consider serving on SAC. If you know a colleague whom you think would be perfect, please consider nominating him or her.

To be eligible, you must be non-union staff on the regular payroll with two years of service (prior to start of SAC's new term in January 2014) in a position designated as 80% time or greater. Former SAC members are eligible as long as they haven't served on the council in the past twelve months.

As a SAC member, along with performing valuable service on behalf of your fellow staff members, you'll meet lots of new people, learn more about how the university works, and see places on campus you've probably never seen (we meet all over the place!).

SAC wants to do a great job of representing staff to President Paxson and other senior administrators. You can help us by nominating the people you think will do the best possible job. For more information about what we do, please read our bylaws.

To apply, please complete this form. To nominate someone else, please complete this form. Nominations and applications are due by the close of business Friday, November 8.
