Student Ambassador (Evening Position)

The Student Ambassador position supports the staff and activities of CareerLAB serving as liaison between the employers holding CareerLAB and students attending. Responsibilities are completed after regular Brown daytime working hours, typically between 4:30 and 9:30 pm. Each shift is usually 3-5 hours. Hours will vary depending on evening events activity. Must be personable, self-directed, good at problem solving, comfortable working on your own and love helping people. Preference given to sophomores and juniors. Dr. Matthew Kraft, Department of Education, is seeking a part-time research assistant to collaborate with him on one or more of several ongoing research projects. Prof. Kraft’s research interests include the economics of education, education policy analysis, and applied quantitative methods for causal inference. His primary work focuses on policies to improve educator and organizational effectiveness in K-12 urban public schools.
