Baccalaureate and Commencement Usher duties include, but are not limited to, ushering guests on the main green, passing out programs, staffing the Commencement Welcome Desk, giving directions and placing signs. Applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Please note, students hired will be required to attend a training session. Housing in the residential halls will be provided if requested.
Graduate School Commencement Usher duties include, but are not restricted to, ushering on the Lincoln Field, passing out programs, and serving as assistants to the Graduate School staff during the Graduate School Commencement Rehearsal and Ceremony. Applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Please note, students hired will be required to attend a training session at a time at the end of May TBD. Housing for Commencement week will be provided at the department's expense upon request.
MANAGE THE SOLAR HEATED GREENHOUSE - Ensure the Aquaponics System is clean and in working order; keep the fish healthy and their numbers manageable; care for seedlings to be planted in the garden; look after seasonal plants; clean and organize space on a regular basis; monitor inventory ------- MANAGE COMMUNITY GARDEN – Maintain UEL Plots by annual plantings and diligent weeding; keep tools well maintained; handle plot requests; sustainable pest control; work with garden board to make sure members (approx. 20) adhere to garden policies; supervise compost system; have winter storage organized; occasionally provide garden tours; oversee care of communal areas and coordinator's plot; organize pot-luck dinners.
The SDWC Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating posters, table slips, and other publicity materials for SDWC events and programs throughout the academic year. In addition, the Graphic Designer will design the layout for the Women's History Month Calendar (March) and Sexual Assault Awareness Month Calendar (April). This position communicates regularly with SDWC program coordinators to obtain information for upcoming events so that posters, etc. are designed in a timely fashion. This position may also be required to staff at the front desk 2 hours a week (during which the Graphic Designer is expected to work on SDWC design projects) and attend a weekly staff meeting. This position mostly works 2 hours per week, with more hours during peak event times.
Using software to capture life cycle data on the performance of building products and insert that in data sheets for use in our product evaluation software.
Seeking a mature individual who can take care of 6 yr-old girl and 9 yr-old boy. During summer take them to pool club, various summer camps, supervise them individual study at home. We are also looking for a person who can take care of them before and after school starting September. May want to stay with them through night when both parents are on call at night. Time schedule depends on parents' schedule, but typically 6:30-9:00am or 12pm and sometimes 3:00-8pm.

Hours: Friday, May 23, 2014 9 am - 4 pm ************ The Campus Dance Office is looking to fill a limited number of positions for the Campus Dance Crew. The Campus Dance Crew positions are committed to work the entire shift. Primary duties include: counting and draping over 500 tables with table clothes, placing signage on each table, hanging signage at each beverage tent area, and generally assisting in the set-up of the Dance. Team leaders will be chosen and will be required to work more advance time hours and will be paid more than other Campus Dance Crew staff. All will be required to attend 1 training meeting the week of May 19-22, 2014 to be assigned into work teams. Salary - total earnings between $55.60 and $64.75. Position does include other perks - including temporary student housing (if you are currently living on campus) and complimentary lunch during shift.
