These special topics courses cover the basics of modern NMR spectroscopy. Topics to be included are as follows: modern Fourier transform methodology, modern NMR instrumentation, and a comprehensive discussion of one and two dimensional experiments that are routinely performed. Topics such as coherence transfer and pulsed field gradients will also be included. Experimental methods covered in detail include COSY, TOCSY, HSQC, HMBC, NOSEY, ROSEY, EXSY and DOSY methodology.
