Information Sessions & Events


To provide the best guidance to students and alumni, Health Careers Advising offers information sessions, group and individual advising that address all aspects of the preparation for study and careers in health and medicine. 

 Unless otherwise noted, all information sessions are in CareerLAB, 167 Angell Street.

All students new to the pre-med/health careers track should attend one of our sessions during the fall or spring semesters. Students must attend a session before meeting with George Vassilev.

APPLICANT SEMINARS FOR STUDENTS AND ALUMNI INTERESTED IN 2016 ADMISSION TO HEALTH CAREERS SCHOOLS

All students and alumni near campus interested in applying for 2016admission are required to attend one of the 4 dates for APPLICANT SEMINAR #1 as well as APPLICANT SEMINAR #6.  We strongly encourage all potential applicants to participate in the other four applicant seminars. We ask alumni far from campus to attend Applicant Seminar #1 and #6 via Webex (will be updated mid-September).

Attendance at one of the APPLICANT SEMINAR #1 dates is also required before meeting with George Vassilev to discuss your application. Students or alumni who have not attended will not be able to submit an HCAD or register for an interview with a member of the Health Careers Advisory Committee. Alumni far from campus should contact Health Careers Advising late in the fall to discuss their backgrounds and plans as well as attend the mandatory applicant seminars.

NOTE: All potential applicants must submit all necessary information on time in accordance with the Timetable & Deadlines for the 2016 Application Process.
