Assistant Professor of Molecular Biology, Cell Biology and Biochemsitry
Christoph Schorl is an Assistant Professor of Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, and Biochemistry (Research). He studied Biology at Ruhr-University Bochum in Germany and as part of his undergraduate degree he spent a year at the University of Dundee in Scotland; he liked it so much that he went back for his M.Sc. in Biochemistry and graduate studies in Molecular and Cellular Pathology. Since 2007, Prof. Schorl has been responsible for the Genomics Core Facility at 70 Ship Street, where he frequently interacts with undergraduate students doing research projects; he has also been a first-year and sophomore advisor for several years. He loves outdoor activities, especially running, and enjoys baking while listening to music.
