Application Information

Why apply for OWC?

OWC is one of the many groups on campus who are responsible for helping new students transition into becoming members of the Brown community.  Orientation is an important time for incoming students as they adjust to a new campus with unfamiliar people and places.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are interested in working together to put plan and execute events to welcome new students to the Brown community.  Orientation Leaders, formerly known as General Body Members, will work with their fellow students to plan events that will leave a lasting impression on the incoming students.

We are looking for students who are involved on campus, love Brown University, and want to help new students turn Brown into their second home!

Students who are Orientation Leaders cannot be Meiklejohn Peer Advisors, Residential Peer Leaders, Community Assistants, IMP Mentors, BOLTers, Minority Peer Counselors, or Women Peer Counselors.
